A career in action

Experience shaped by service.

Natalie’s work connects direct community care, national public health leadership, and systems change.

Health Without Walls

Natalie has led the nationally recognized community health initiative, Health Without Walls. These programs have expanded preventive cancer screenings and wraparound health services to more than 1.5 million individuals across 28 cities and 52 health systems. She also has directed multi-sectoral pragmatic research projects that have become comprehensive programs supporting patients managing hypertension, diabetes, nutrition, and stress.

Maternal health innovation

Through her unwavering passion to advance equity in communities with the highest incidence of disparity and mortality, she launched the first ever curriculum accredited Community-Based Doula Training Certification in Central Ohio to combat maternal and infant mortality in Black communities.

Executive leadership

Her executive leadership extends nationally. She has spearheaded the management of operations, business development, research, and community health programs as a Vice President for a national leading community-based organization. During the national COVID pandemic, she managed COVID-19 testing and vaccination campaigns across multiple states, reaching tens of thousands of patients while advising the CDC and FDA on equitable response strategies. This included a unique opportunity to spearhead COVID & set medical management for the film industry in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. Additionally, Natalie also directed services for more than 8,000 unhoused and high-risk individuals in the collaborative Shelter, Isolation, and Quarantine city-wide program led by YMCA of Central Ohio, Columbus Shelter Board, health systems, and mental health service providers.
